FAQs

FAQs

Do I need to be a model?

NOPE! Our sessions are for everyday people, no modeling experience needed. I'll guide you through poses by using fun prompts that bring out the authenticity in YOU. I’ve sprinkled our website with prompts that we use in the studio with all of our clients and the results of those prompts. The goal is to capture you as naturally as possible.

Where is your studio located?

I am a nomad photographer, meaning that I'm currently in partnership with photo studios all through Manhattan, LIC, and Brooklyn.

How do I prepare for my shoot?

Once you book you'll receive an email with a detailed client prep guide to help you get ready for your shoot. I’m also a quick email, and DM away if you have any questions.

Do you provide hair and makeup services?

I do not include hair and makeup services as part of my photography sessions. This allows you the flexibility to work with a stylist of your choice or come as you are—natural and authentic. My goal is to capture you, in the way that feels most true and comfortable for you.

Can I customize a package?

Absolutely! I’m here to collaborate and make this experience unique to you.

How Long is the shoot?

Plan to be at the studio for at least 2 hours. Between conversations, dance party breaks, outfit changes, and water breaks, we need all the time we can get to boogie oogie oogie and to fully enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.

When do I get to see my photos, and how does it work?

You’ll get to see your photos during a special Reveal & Ordering Session via Zoom, scheduled about 7 days after your photoshoot. This is where the magic happens—you’ll view your images for the first time and select your favorites. I’ll guide you through options for prints, albums, and wall art to ensure your portraits are preserved beautifully.

Will you retouch my________?

To keep the authenticity of the moment captured on camera we dont photoshop our images during processing after the shoot. Except for temporary blemishes, scrapes, and bruises, unless you request not to.

Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely yes! I welcome you to bring a friend to your session. The only request is that they’re there to support and cheer you on—not to direct. Having someone in your corner can add to the fun and make the experience even more special!

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend booking your session 2–3 weeks in advance to give yourself plenty of time to prepare and make the most of your experience. That said, if you're ready to shoot and my calendar has availability, let’s make it happen! Don’t wait—your moment is now.

Do you travel for sessions?

Currently, all photo experiences are held in or near New York City, and I’m not traveling for sessions at this time. However, in 2025, I may offer quickie sessions if I’m in a city near you! I’ll share those updates on social media and through my newsletter, so make sure you’re following along—you might just catch me in your city!
