Hey, i'm Layra
I believe every woman deserves to feel seen—like really seen. Not for who the world tells her to be, but for who she already is.
That belief didn’t come out of nowhere. It came from my own healing.
I didn’t just pick up a camera one day and decide to be a photographer. This work found me when I was finding my way back to myself.
After a life shift cracked me open, I needed something to hold onto—something to remind me that I was still whole. Photography became that something. And over time, it became a way to help other women feel held, too.
I know what it’s like to feel invisible.
To want just one moment where you can drop the weight, take a deep breath, and show up exactly as you are—no filters, no front.
That’s the space I create for you.
This isn’t about perfect poses or trying to be someone you’re not.
My sessions are slow, intentional, and grounded in real emotion.
We move, we laugh, we let the moment unfold. What we capture is a reflection of your softness, your edge, your becoming.

This is a personalized, feel-good experience from start to finish and it all begins with a quick call.
STEP 01
Fill Out the Inquiry Form
Start by filling out the quick form on our contact page. This helps us get a feel for what you're celebrating and what kind of session you’re dreaming up—whether it’s a boudoir experience, a branding shoot, or a soulful lifestyle session.
STEP 02
Let’s Connect on a Video Call
Once your form is submitted, we’ll schedule a video call. This is where we connect. You’ll share your vision, and I’ll walk you through the entire process—what the session feels like, how we prep, and all the fun we’ll have together. You'll get a chance to ask questions, dream out loud, and see if this feels like the right fit.
STEP 03
book your session
At the end of our call, you’ll have the option to secure your shoot date. To lock in your spot, a session fee of $850 is required. This includes: A personalized planning session. Your in-studio photo shoot (wardrobe, posing, and all the support you need). A private reveal session to view and choose your images. Images and products are purchased separately.
STEP 04
Prep + plan
Once you're booked, I’ll send over everything you need to feel ready—my signature prep guide, wardrobe tips, and answers to any questions that come up. You'll know exactly how to show up and feel grounded.
STEP 05
Your session day
When you arrive at the studio, we’ll take our time settling in. I’ll guide you every step of the way—from outfit styling and movement to expressions and emotional flow. We’ll create in a way that feels natural, relaxed, and empowering. Carve out 2–3 hours for our studio time. This gives us space to ease in, move with intention, and let the magic unfold without feeling rushed. This is your time to slow down, take up space, and let yourself be seen.
STEP 06
Your reveal session
After your shoot, we’ll schedule a private reveal session where you’ll see your images for the first time. You’ll choose your favorites and decide how you’d love to keep them—digitals, prints, albums, or wall art.
STEP 07
Choose your package + payment options
Collections can be pre-purchased or selected during your reveal. We offer flexible payment options, including: Pay in full, and Buy now, pay later. À la carte prints and products are also available so you can build what works best for you.

I wanted boudoir photos to remind me how powerful, beautiful and sexy I am...even as the world tells me that I'm not because I'm a larger Black woman. As I've done the inner work to heal my relationship with my body, I wanted to do a shoot for the experience as well as the resulting photos. Layra not only created a loving space for us (not just me, but herself too!) to harness our sacred feminine power and beauty, but she leverages her keen eye to capture to most breathtaking images!
