FAQ
Where will the session take place?
We’ll be photographing at a professional studio near 34th Street in Midtown Manhattan. I’ll send you the exact address and everything you need to know after you book.
What does the session include?
Your session includes 15-20 minutes of fully guided photography, 5 professionally finished digital images, and a private online gallery where you’ll choose your favorites and have the opportunity to purchase additional images.
Can I purchase more than five photographs?
Of course. If you fall in love with more than five—and listen, it happens—you can purchase additional images directly through the shop inside your private gallery. Just choose your favorites, add them to your cart, and check out right there.
When will I receive my gallery?
Your private gallery will arrive within one week of your session. You’ll be able to look through your photographs, choose your included five, and purchase any extras you can’t leave behind.
What should I wear?
Choose one outfit that makes you feel polished, comfortable, and like yourself on a very good day. Simple silhouettes and solid or understated colors photograph beautifully.
After booking, I’ll send you a preparation guide filled with helpful details and ideas so you feel confident and ready for your session.
Can I bring more than one outfit?
Because we only have 15-20 minutes together, this experience is designed around one strong, camera-ready look. Arrive dressed in your chosen outfit so we can use every minute to create beautiful photographs.
I’m awkward in front of the camera. Will you help me?
Yes—completely. You don’t need to know how to pose, where to look, or what to do with your hands. I’ll guide you through your posture, expressions, angles, and all the tiny adjustments that make a difference.
Your only job is to show up. I’ve got the rest.
Is professional hair and makeup included?
Hair and makeup are not included for Headshot Day. Arrive camera-ready in whatever way feels most like you—professionally styled, naturally polished, somewhere in between, or wearing no makeup at all. There’s no required look here. Come as you are.
Who is this session for?
Entrepreneurs, executives, creatives, speakers, authors, job seekers—or anyone whose current headshot no longer feels current.
You don’t need to own a business or have a traditionally corporate career. If you need a strong, polished photograph that looks and feels like you, you’re in the right place.
How do I reserve my appointment?
Choose your preferred available time and complete payment. Once your payment is submitted, your session is officially reserved.
Only 2 sessions are available, so if this feels like the right time to refresh your headshot, choose your time slot and let’s make it happen.

Meet the Photographer

Hey i'm layra,

/LYE-RAH/ YOUR HYPE GIRL BEHIND THE LENS
I believe the way we show up matters.
Especially when your photograph often arrives before you do.
Before the meeting.
Before the conversation.
Before someone ever gets to experience your work.
Your headshot should feel professional and polished—but it should also feel like you.
Your presence. Your confidence. Your personality.
Whether you’re building something new, stepping into a new role, or simply ready for a photograph that reflects who you are now, that’s what I want to create with you.
Because you’ve evolved.
Your work has evolved.
And the way you show up gets to evolve with you.
So when someone sees your photograph before they meet you, I want them to feel like they already know a little bit of the person behind the work
